Extend your arm, locking your elbow joint and relaxing your muscles.
Measure your forearm's circumference at its largest point, and measure your bicep circumference 10cm (4in) up from your elbow joint.
Choose a size that best fits both measurements.
The elbow sleeves stretch more than the knee sleeves, so if you are between sizes we would suggest going for the smaller size.
We recommend hand washing your elbow sleeves with water or a mild detergent (or a specialist neoprene/wetsuit detergent), then allow the sleeves to air dry standing up.
The spin cycle of a washing machine can damage the sleeve, as the elbow sleeves become quite bulky when wet and can potentially get caught up or damaged by wringing. High heat from a washing machine or a dryer will degrade the rubber in the sleeves (potentially causing shrinkage or brittleness).
Great elbow sleeves. They are more comfortable and supportive/fit better than the Gym Reapers I had before. I will say I had to size down in order to get the fit & feel that I wanted. I was told to get the large elbow sleeves & XL knee sleeves by the official chart as well as being told that by SBD over email, but in my opinion, both my elbow & knee sleeves were way too loose at the recommended sizes. Sized down by one notch on both the SBD elbow & knee sleeves, and now they’re perfect. I love the olive green color. For reference, I’m 40 and have a lot of joint issues, but I enjoy lifting as heavily as I can. There’s no way I want to bench 225 without my sleeves though. They just give me more confidence and the compression really does help me with my joint pain. For whatever it’s worth I have chronic golfer’s elbow, a bicep tendon near the elbow that’s been strained and never truly healed 100%, weakness & forearm pain on my right side with some arm/wrist nerve damage & carpal tunnel all on the right side and it sucks, but I still feel confident and ready & able to lift 5 days a week. I rely on a lot of equipment to keep me feeling good & strong and my sleeves are a big part of that formula. Thank you SBD!
Comfortable and effective
